I don't know where you grew up. But where I grew up there was nothing. No trees, no nothing. And when you try to walk from A to B during a storm. You will really know what I am talking about. That is when you will miss some of those threes. Or any tree for that matter. I had to hold on to my bike often trying to not blow away walking to school. Sometimes on my bike I would find myself basically; I would find myself cycling backwards. Leaning down as far as I could trying to find a way to air stream myself. Anything to avoid the winds as much as possible. trying to find a way so I would not cycle backwards. If you were unlucky you would basically be cycling backwards - the entire time! Come to think of it; I should have just turned my bike around so I would seem to be cycling the right way, but then I would end up where the wind wanted to go. since the wind was not heading the same direction as I wanted. So yeah I wish they had put in trees. Trees are great wind breakers. And well if you kill them; there is nothing much you can do about it! There will be nothing but that howling wind!
